Reasonably spacious room by Japanese standards. Breakfast on site with adequate options. Staff super friendly and helpful. Several restaurants on site (particularly liked the Italian place - Tomatito for atmosphere and food quality). Hire skis could be left on site for collection by rental companies. Snow shuttle stop right outside hotel.

Amazing location, in the heart of Echoland near restaurants and rentals, free shuttles to ski resorts right outside. Convenient heated gear room for storing skis, board, and wet gear. Friendly staff. Was able to send equipment ahead via Yamato, very convenient

The room was laid out in such a way that we felt like we each had our own section, even though there were no walls separating us into separate bedrooms. It was helpful to have English speaking staff.

We had an exceptional stay at the Shakespeare hotel. Olivia was more than accommodating to all our needs and request, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was in the perfect location, walking distance to many restaurants, ski hire places and very accessible to get to the slopes (shuttles every hour that leave from outside the hotel). All the staff were welcoming and willing to help where possible. We plan to return very soon!!!

Amazing position opposite the bus terminal. Big rooms, lovely bathrooms - post ski baths were amazing! OLIVIA WE LOVE YOU! Shakespeare Offers a great and very big breakfast would highly recommend getting that as it’s amazing. Beds were great, exactly what my partner and I have at home. Space and comfort of the hotel was amazing. Had great wifi too so I could continue to work remotely before we went snowboarding. Epic. Safe. Fun. Not a crazy hostel vibe which meant we could get some rest after big days. Also offered yoga, tips on local eats and some great massage options nearby!

The staff were very friendly and helpful with assisting de confliction of ski bus timetables and assisting with administration of taxis, ski rentals, etc. it was very convenient to have the option to use the hotel bus to/from the JR train station when our taxi was late. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, amenities possibly slightly dated to some but acceptable. The atmosphere to chill out with a nice beverage after a big day on the slopes in the hotel lobby was perfect.

The location of this hotel was perfect as it was right beside Hakuba Base Camp. All the staff were helpful and lovely. Olivia was very helpful and did everything to make our stay wonderful. Our room was exactly as we expected it to be and great for 4 adults, giving a separation of the two room spaces. Coffee was always available in the lobby and was a lovely touch.

It was a great location. The rooms were a good size. The beds were firm and the shower water pressure was brilliant. Olivia looked after us very well and helped us immensely by booking our restaurants in advance.

it was great to have several restaurants close by and a bus stop out the front for the main ski resorts. We’re also very thankful for the very helpful and friendly staff, who were there from 7am-7pm.

Location was perfect Bus stop right out the front Convenient restaurants if you choose to eat at the hotel but plenty close by Yoga was awesome - instructors were friendly
